MEET YOUR EDUCATOR
Hi, I’m Maria - founder of MANIQUE Beauty Salon & Academy.
I moved to Scotland when I was only 19, learned the language, worked different jobs… and slowly found my way into the beauty industry.
Nails started as something small on the side, but over time it grew into something I truly loved. I invested in courses, practiced constantly, and built my skills step by step - from working in a salon, to my spare room at home to running my own salon today.
Now, as an award-winning nail artist specialising in natural nail enhancements, I work closely with clients every day delivering high-standard, detailed work.
But if I’m honest, the journey wasn’t always easy.
There were moments where things felt confusing… and even harder when you’re learning in a language that doesn’t fully feel like yours. I remember wishing someone had just explained everything clearly - the why, not just the how.
That's exactly why I created the MANIQUE Method.
